Changes to child care rules could be on the way

Changes set to be made to child day care standards, under the Regulation of Care Act, will be published in the coming weeks.

A public consultation ended in April with the Department of Health and Social Care collating the responses.

Interest was shown by child care providers as well as other organisations and individuals.

Whether child carers should have qualifications is one of the many arguments put forward in the feedback.
