Police are warning the public about the dangers of legal highs after three men were taken seriously ill on Friday.
Emergency services were called to Port Erin beach during the sand racing event during the early part of the evening.
The men were all taken to hospital - two in what's been described as a "serious condition".
As a precaution police cordoned off the area and recovered a black foil packet containing small pink and blue tablets.
They say just because something is not illegal it does not make it safe - the packet itself was labelled "not for human consumption".
All three males have now been released from hospital.
