New prizes for Festival of Motorcycling racers

Winners at this year's IMGold Manx Grand Prix will find their palms crossed with silver.

Racers will be awarded a 'pure' solid silver ingot in the shape of the Isle of Man which is laser engraved with the race details.

As the first title sponsor in 91-years IMGold says it wanted to create a unique award to reflect the honour of earning a top three place in the event.

The trophies will weigh either 500g or 1kg.

MGP organisers will also still present riders with the traditional trophies, replicas and medals in all race categories.
