Police investigating hit and run

Police are investigating after a van crashed into a car and then left the scene on Friday.

It happened opposite the Santon Motel in Santon between 1.40pm and 2pm.

The white van was travelling northbound when it hit the parked car, which was in the layby, causing damage to the driver's side window and wing mirror.

Anyone who witnessed what happened has been asked to contact Police Headquarters on 631212.
