People in Port Erin will see little difference in policing when the town's police station closes.
That's the promise from the inspector who's in charge of the neighbourhood - along with the west and the north.
The station, which is the most expensive to run and maintain, is being sold along with Lord Street in Douglas in an effort to save government money.
Police officers in the south will work out of Castletown where two thirds of their work stems from - Darrill Pearson says it makes sense:
