Riders to get more practice time

Additional practice time has been granted for competitors taking part in this year's IMG Gold Manx Grand Prix and Classic TT races.

It follows a public consultation into extending the Festival of Motorcycling schedule for Saturday, August 23rd.

A significant increase in the number of competitors who need practice time means the roads will now close at 9.30am instead of 12pm.

Crossing points around the course will be open between 2.30pm and 3.15pm for the public.
