Ayre Clay Target Club hosted the fourth round of the Penketh-Millar sponsored English Skeet Summer League at Blue Point in showery conditions on Sunday.

Jeff Corkill won the 50 target competition with 47. Dave Corlett was joint second with Mark Riley, both scoring 44.

Corkill also won the Ted Kermeen sponsored 100 target league competition with 95. Corlett was second on 90 with Riley third on 88.

C Class: 1= Michael Cross and Peter Fabrizio 41; 3, Jack Kneen 40.

This Sunday the club are holding the annual English Sporting Manx Championship, sponsored by J W Kneen and Son. There is a lot of work required to set up the course and there will be a work party from 1pm on Saturday. All club members are requested to attend as many hands make light work.
