Clague and Potter both hit 591 x 600
Due to Commonwealth Games duty and holidays, just fifteen shooters arrived for Round 4 of the Osborn Carpets 2nd Scratch 600 on Monday evening and some excellent shooting was enjoyed in perfect weather conditions, especially by Andy Potter and Mike Clague, Clague being the only shooter to post a full house. The pair both shot 591 x 600 advancing Clague’s personal best by a single point. Full results were:-

Tom ‘Lords’ it in the Empire Garage Tynwald Shield Handicap
Tom Lord produced a very consistent score recording 583 in his scratch match and claimed Round 14 of the Empire Garage Tynwald Shield Handicap after his handicap had been applied, from the winning pair of the Osborn Carpets Scratch match, Potter and Clague.

Locals continue to be a leading force in the Ulster Counties Summer Leagues
Round 6 of the Ulster Counties Summer League have been forwarded by Bill Jones and once again the results are showing that locals are maintaining their excellent positions throughout the thirteen leagues. As usual, I will list, the league, followed by the name and finally their position.

In the team Divisions, the locals are producing some terrific results which give the following positions:-

Division B – the IoM SC “C” team of McKnight, Arthur & Skelton 1st, the IoM SC “B” team of Potter, Brown & Burns 2nd,
Division C – the IoM SC “E” team of Clague, Kneale & Liz Jones 2nd and finally,
Division D – the IoM SC “F” team of Callus, Trafford & Clague 1st.
