Plans to build a new apartment block in place of a former hotel in Port Erin haven't gone down well with the public.
Dandara has submitted an application for a mix of one, two and three bedroom flats to sit on the site of the Royal Hotel.
Our listeners have been sharing their views - Mike says Port Erin doesn't need any more empty apartments and Susie says whilst it would be good to see the building restored it doesn't need to be flats.
Stacie says more should be done to promote tourism instead with Linda agreeing saying another hotel would be better to attract tourists.
However Nicholas is one of those in favour of the development saying it's better to see nice buildings than derelict buildings that are eyesores - Liam also says he's supportive of the plan as it will bring work for the construction trade.
The Department of Infrastructure is considering the plans with a decision due towards the end of September.
