Fire crews extract man trapped in car

Emergency services were out in force yesterday after a traffic collision near to the Liverpool Arms in Baldrine.

A man was trapped in a car which had left the road and ended up on its side in a field opposite the pub.

Six firefighters worked to extract the individual working closely with the paramedics.

The casualty was transferred to the waiting ambulance where they were taken to Noble's Hospital.

There is no update on their condition.
