Bogus calls are being made to Island residents pretending to be banks and financial institutions.
The Office of Fair Trading says locals who receive them should, under no circumstances, give information out or confirm information provided back to them.
People should also ensure they are properly disconnected from the suspect call before dialling their bank, as fraudsters may still be on the line.
