The Island's Education Minister is heading to Edinburgh to the International Culture Summit.
Tim Crookall is attending the event, which is to be held at the Scottish Parliament in August to promote the Island's interests in international cultural giving.
Ministers and leading arts and culture experts from around the world will join him to discuss the complex and multi-lateral environment for racial exchange.
The theme - 'Culture - A currency of Trust' - reflects the Summit's belief that culture builds bridges between nations, states and cities.
The granddaughter of Nelson Mandela and the director general of UNESCO are set to speak at the event.
