The Bone Density Service has moved from Noble's Hospital to the Community Health Centre in Douglas from 11th August.
It's part of a long-term plan to utilise community health facilities for the delivery of non-urgent care.
This means the facilities at Noble's can be used to give emergency care to patients in a more serious condition.
The bone density scanner is used to assess a patients' risk of having a fracture.
