Construction on a new £3 million custody block in Douglas is underway - with the project set to complete in March.
It's being built at Police Headquarters to replace the old facility which has been deemed as past its operational life.
The building has been in use for 35 years and has been criticised for being unsafe for detainees and unsuitable for officers.
