It's the first day of the Commonwealth Games and Team Isle of Man is raring to go with a number of athletes looking to make a positive start to the Glasgow based games.
In swimming Alex Bregazzi will be the first Island athlete to compete as he takes part in the Men's 400m Freestyle heats.
They'll also be competitors in the Women's 50m Breaststroke event and Women's 100m Butterfly heats just after lunch.
Highly tipped Grant Halsall also features in the Men's 100m Backstroke heats.
However all eyes will be on Santon based triathlete Andrew Nash who will be hoping to clinch the Island's first medal of the Games in this afternoon's event at Strathclyde County Park.
