Manannan to have temporary mezzanine level

Creating a new mezzanine level on the Manannan will help increase motorcycle capacity by 30 per cent.

The Steam Packet Company has commissioned the temporary infrastructure which will be used during the TT and Festival of Motorcycling.

Around 300 more bikes will be able to be carried backwards and forwards each day - this TT more than 12,000 bikes travelled to, and from, the Island - a rise of eight per cent on the previous year.
