Michael Clague once again shot a personal best score by 3 points to record a result of 590 x 600 on Monday evening in the Osborn Carpets Scratch second 600 round 2. His result gave him the overall match win on count-back and Class B win. Clague’s results have been improving during the summer season and this result puts him into a very competitive position and is due to determination and consistent training throughout the summer months. Andy Potter matched Clague’s result and claimed Class A in the process. Just thirteen shooters took part in the match, under the control of range Officer Brian Fozard, with varying weather conditions from brilliant sunshine to extreme murky light where rain was expected, all within the one hour and five minutes of the competition. Full houses, 100’s, were shot by two members, one to Clague and a second to a delighted Suzanne McKnight who claimed it as her first ever 100 at Sinclair.
