Is it all systems go for the Manx Education Foundation and their purchase of the Nunnery site?
It would certainly appear that a conclusion is near following an answer given by the Chief Minister in Tynwald this morning.
He was asked to justify why no other expressions of interest had been considered; in doing so he revealed the MEF had secured the millions of pounds needed for the purchase.
They were able to secure the money after Government granted them an exclusivety agreement in October.
Under their plans MEF will create a new International Centre for Technology at the Nunnery, catering for students from around the world.
The Chief Minister said government is not just looking to make a 'quick buck' and the decisions have been made in the Island's long-term strategic interests.
