A three-year-old boy who was found wandering alone in Douglas in the early hours of this morning has been reunited with his parents.
Police put out an urgent appeal, and began door to door enquiries, after finding the toddler on Cooil Road at around 4.30am.
At the time they found him he was wearing a nappy and a polo shirt featuring the wording 'Rebel Junior'.
Officers say they didn't believe he had got very far but had simply woken up and gone out for a walk.
He was taken to Noble's Hospital safe and well with no injuries - where he was said to be charming the staff.
