Luxury suites at the Sefton Hotel are being sold off in an effort to reduce the group's level of debt.
The Sefton Group has plans to sell up to six of the 10 suites - nine of which are adjacent to the main hotel.
One sale is currently being completed with two more suites currently being marketed.
The suites were created in 2008 and were aimed at the film industry and those people who wanted top-end accommodation.
However the group says this market has been heavily impacted by the general economic downturn and has failed to fully recover.
