Allowing prison inmates to take part in a sponsored walk is part of a wider effort to help in their rehabilitation.
The Island's Prison and Probation Service organised the event earlier this month.
Eight selected offenders, and eight prison staff, completed 20 miles between the Jurby facility and the old prison site on Victoria Road in Douglas.
They raised money for the Rebecca House Children's Hospice.
The service says it is good to see prisoners making a positive contribution to the local community through their charitable endeavors.
