Peter Kennaugh has won the British Cycling National Championships road races in Abergavenny.
The 26-year old Onchan man overtook his fellow Team Sky mate in the men's race - which fellow Manxman Mark Cavendish was absent from due to a bout of bronchitis.
Having previously come in second, third and fourth in the competition, he's told the UK media that this was the win he was looking for.
Kennaugh won't be following this success in Yorkshire for the 2014 Tour de France on July 5th, as he hasn't been included in the team's line-up.
