The Isle of Man has found itself the topic of a Twitter storm following an ill-advised Tweet posted from 10 Downing Street yesterday.
In a call for unity ahead of the Scottish vote on independence Prime Minister David Cameron posted a picture of a map of the United Kingdom which featured the Isle of Man.
The Manx Government then sent a public message asking for the Tweet to be corrected as the Island is not part of the UK - it was subsequently re-tweeted well over 300 times.
The incident has resulted in hundreds of new followers to government's Twitter feed and calls for the Prime Minister to 'get his facts right'.
