A new Tynwald committee has been tasked with looking into the benefits of caravans.
It will look at the advantages and disadvantages of encouraging the towed vehicles to visit the Island.
Factors under consideration include the benefit to the tourism industry, whether a non-residential caravan park could be created and if entry would need regulating.
The committee will be overseen by MHK David Quirk and MLCs Geoff Corkish and Alex Downie.
Members of the public can submit their thoughts on the idea by Thursday, July 10th.
