Fridge-freezers dumped in plantation

Police are investigating an incident of fly-tipping in the Axnfell Plantation in Lonan.

On Thursday a number of fridge-freezers, a washing machine and a towel radiator were found dumped.

Officers are trying to find out how the items got there and would like to speak to anyone who has been offered a removal service for old white goods.

They say that someone may be charging for removal and then dumping goods without paying disposal costs.
