Punishment beatings on Tynwald agenda

What action is being taken against drug dealers who punish people for not paying their debt?

That's one of the more bizarre questions tabled for the July sitting of Tynwald which gets underway today.  

Onchan MHK Peter Karran wants to know about 'punishment beatings' which allegedly occur because of non-payment of drug debt.

He wants to know how many cases have been reported to the Department of Home Affairs in the last three years and what action the department intends to take to deal with this.

The sitting gets underway at 10.30am.
