Isle of Man retailers may have to comply if the UK Government ditches branded cigarette packaging - which could happen faster than expected.
More than 600 medical professionals are urging ministers to publish draft regulations before the UK General Election starts.
Cigarettes sold here are sourced from the UK - so those selling them will have to give in to plain packaging if they don't fancy paying hefty import costs.
Minister for Home Affairs Juan Watterson says it's a no-brainer:
