Police disappointed by TT drink drive locals

The Isle of Man has responded poorly to this year's TT anti-drink drive campaign, according to a police inspector.

Of the high number of people arrested, a greater majority were locals.

One man was jailed for six weeks, incurring a six year driving ban and a financial penalty.

Inspector Derek Flint says he can't understand why there was such a significant spike this year. He says it's thoroughly disappointing:
