Sidecar racers airlifted to hospital

Dave Molyneux and Patrick Farrance claimed victory in the race

A number of sidecar racers were airlifted to hospital yesterday during the second Sure Sidecar Race.

Darren Hope and Paul Bumphrey crashed at Ballig Cottage - Hope was OK but Bumphrey was airmedded to Noble's for treatment.

Dean Nicholls and Paul Skinner came off at Waterworks - Nicholls was OK but Skinner was also airlifted to Noble's for assessment.

Yesterday's race was won by Manx man Dave Molyneux marking his 17th TT win.
