War veteran has D-Day trip to Normandy filmed for 'This Morning'

A local war veteran's trip to Normandy to mark the 70th anniversary of the D-Day landings will feature on ITV's 'This Morning'.

The camera crews will follow Hector Duff's journey back to France as he reflects on his own personal account of the allied invasion of the Normandy beaches.

Operation Overlord was described as one of the most heroic, audacious and significant battles of the Second World War.

Now aged 94 Hector still leads a packed life with a very busy social calendar:
