Man injured following Villiers lane incident

An incident in Douglas over the weekend left a man needing treatment for injuries.

It happened in Villiers Lane, situated between Strand Street and Douglas Promenade, close to the Post Office on Regent Street.

It happened at around 2.30am on Saturday, two males were involved, also a female with fair hair was thought to be in the area at the time.

A number of items were stolen during the incident, they include a brown French Connection leather wallet, and a black LG Optimus phone.

Any witnesses are asked to come forward, in particular police would like to speak with two males who are believed to have walked past the end of the lane whilst the incident took place.
