Pre-TT races get underway at Billown

Pre TT Classic practices got underway last night in somewhat murky conditions.

The first qualifying practice sessions ran on the Southern 100 Billown Circuit.

In the 850cc class Bob Price came in in first place and in the Junior 350cc Alan Oversby on his Honda put in the best time.

In the Superbike James Cowton took the top spot, followed by Mike Hose and in third place Dave Madsen-Mygdal.

Closing the session was the sidecar race - first place went to Eddy Wright and Dean Kilkenny and in third Kobus Bouman – a rider who didn’t have a passenger until yesterday – who rode with Bob Dowty.
