Bus timetables cannot be tailored to individual passengers needs in the current financial climate.
The Department of Infrastructure will soon be launching a consultation on how to balance the level of service and charges.
The issue was raised in Tynwald by Peter Karran - he says he want's the public's feedback to be listened to.
It's in light of news the department needs to save £5 million - Minister Laurence Skelly says customer feedback will be taken on-board:
