UK fossil fuels are running out - making the Isle of Man more dependent on expensive pancontinental imports.
A report from the Global Sustainability Institute says the UK's oil, gas and coal sources are due to expire in five years.
The organisation says the fuels are also running low on mainland Europe so there is a cause for concern.
