Police appeal for witnesses to serious assault in Ballasalla

A man has received very serious injuries following an incident in Ballasalla.

The disturbance took place at around 2.30am yesterday morning in Clagh Vane following a party in a nearby house - where it's thought the incident happened near the bottom junction.

At the time of the assault, there were a number of people in the street.

It's anticipated there were a number of potential witnesses - anyone with information is asked to contact police headquarters.

So far, one man has been arrested in connection with the incident.
