Fri, 16 May 2014

A casting call for extras has revealed a future film to be shot on the Isle of Man.

'Take Down' has been financed by Pinewood Pictures and will be directed by Jim Gillespie, the man behind horror movie 'I know what you did last Summer'.

The film has been described as a thriller, revolving around a group of students who take matters into their own hands after their school is taken over by criminals.

The budget is estimated to be between $10 and $15 million.

Steve Christian of Pinewood Pictures has described it as a very fresh and commercial project.

Filming will commence in mid July.
