Vulnerable members of the community are being helped by a new police charity which is keen to 'Give a Gift'.
The charity has branched out to help people suffering as a result of financial, physical, emotional or social hardship.
When first launched in 1961 it was known as the 'Police Christmas Parcels for Needy Folk Fund' - however it's now been renamed and given a wider remit.
Gifts such as food parcels, toy shop vouchers and fuel credit are given to those in need throughout the year.
