Offenders carrying out community service orders on the Island have clocked up just under 17,000 days of unpaid work since 2003.
The orders are handed down by the courts as an alternative to being sent to prison - they're aimed to get the offender to repay their debt to society.l
Initiatives include preparing a cycle trail and children's play area at Archallagan Plantation and helping to clean the Island's beaches.
