Further evidence will be heard this month about the care and upbringing of children on the Isle of Man.
The Select Committee of Tynwald will hear from the practice director of The Children’s Centre next Wednesday and from two advocates on May 28th.
It’s part of an in-depth look into whether the law needs to be changed following the breakdown of marriages or other relationships.
The issue was presented as a petition on Tynwald Day last year with the committee being set up in December.
In previous sittings the committee has heard from the Family Court Mediation Service and the Department of Social Care.
