Island allergy sufferers confused over labelling

Food allergy sufferers are struggling with supermarket labelling.

That’s the message from an Island dietician, who says some allergy labelling is down to companies protecting themselves from legal action.

The Isle of Man food industry is exempt from new European legislation planned to tackle the issue in December.
