Old concrete used for railway line improvements

Old concrete dug up from Peel Road will be used to revamp the heritage railway track.

Work on improving the area – between Union Mills and Glen Vine – will begin shortly.

The roadworks on the busy Douglas route are now drawing to a close with a new road layout in operation.

It includes a cycle lane – which drivers have been asked not to enter unless unavoidable
