Sportsmen and women from the Isle of Man have been recognised at the Isle of Man Bank Sports Awards.
Celebrating another year of sporting success for the Island the annual awards saw cyclist Mark Cavendish once again take the Sportman of the Year prize.
He pipped fellow cyclist, and last year’s winner, Peter Kennaugh to the post – with the Team Sky rider instead picking up the Ambassador Award.
Sportswoman of the Year went to 16-year-old horse rider Yasmin Ingham whilst British Junior Road Race Champion Anna Christian took the female Under 21 Award.
Other winners on the night included Team Isle of Man for its medal haul at the Natwest Island Games and local badminton stalwarts, Frank and Pat Anderson, who were honoured with a joint Lifetime Achievement Award.
