A stroke specialist is striving to establish a service that could prevent disability for patients at Noble’s Hospital.
The Thrombolysis Service has already been rolled out in the UK – where it has been proven successful in preventing many lifelong disabilities.
On developing stroke-like symptoms, people would be given a blood clot busting medication within the first hour of being brought into casualty.
