The UK Ministry of Justice is expected to make a decision on the status of the Island’s acting attorney general imminently.
That’s according to the Chief Minister who says he expects John Quinn, who's been in the role for 12 months, to remain in the position.
It follows the suspension of current Attorney General Stephen Harding who remains suspended following a court case.
South Douglas MHK Kate Beecroft will today ask when the Ministry of Justice was approached regarding an extension.
