Police are investigating after a unit in Balthane was broken into earlier this month.
A large amount of cash was taken, along with £40.00 worth of stamps.
It happened sometime between 10.30pm on Monday 17th March, and 02.00am the next day.
Officers are reminding small businesses located in isolated areas such as this to ensure they adhere to basic crime prevention guidelines.
They advocate the use of basic security lights, alarms and CCTV as a means of protecting your business and property.
