A new multi-storey car park may need to be developed in Douglas to cope with the increased demand for parking spaces.
That’s according to the Department of Infrastructure which has set up a working group to look at finding and planning suitable facilities.
Figures from reports already compiled show there needs to be an additional 750 spaces by 2027.
If current sites such as Parade Street and Lord Street are redeveloped the department says a brand new facility may be required.
