Some meat eaters on the Isle of Man don't fully understand the benefits and repercussions of eating red meat.
That's the message from the Department of Health which says many people don't always realise what constitutes as red meat.
It comes as a new survey by The Meat Advisory Panel revealed misconceptions about red meat in Britain's North West - finding it to be a health risk.
Acute dietician Rachel Cleator works at Noble's Hospital - she says people are advised to eat two to three portions of red meat each week.
She says that in moderation it can have a positive impact on the body:
