The Isle of Man is complying with European Union financial measures taken against specific persons, entities and bodies in view of the situation in Ukraine.
Each is considered by the EU to be responsible for actions that undermine or threaten the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of the country.
The Island's financial institutions and others are being asked to freeze those accounts or funds and, unless they're licensed by the Treasury, refrain from dealing with them.
They must then report their findings to the Treasury's sanctions officer at the Customs and Excise Division.
