A local woman with a disability is asking when the UK's Disability Discrimination Act 1995 will be implemented in the Isle of Man.
Denise Dodson says life can be hard for her to get around in Douglas and struggles to understand why - after 19-years - the Act is still yet to be implemented here.
She says even government buildings haven't all got the proper access for people in her position and not all private businesses cater for people in wheelchairs.
