The Isle of Man’s Nordic heritage has been highlighted in the Sunday Times newspaper's travel section.
The article, which focussed on the British Museum’s new Viking exhibition, draws attention to the fact that 12.3 per cent of the Island’s population are descended from Vikings.
As part of the exhibition the Manx Museum will link up with the British Museum for a cinema broadcast of the feature, Vikings Live.
Manx National Heritage has donated an item to the exhibition - ‘Thorwald’s Cross’ - an ancient artifact found following an excavation in Andreas.
